making a shock cover

well... try this... you would need a thicker material for them.. so check out your local hoobie/ craft shop, find matireal like neoprene face masks for winter, get some thread and needles and some velco.. cut the neoprone or what ever material you chooose so it will wrap around the shock with like 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch over lap... and mark where to sew the velcro on so you can wrap the shop and secure it with the velco.. sew velcro on sand call it a day
how about a long balloon or condom with zip ties at the top and bottom?

the ends need elastic to stay on the shock, like to keep them from sliding down

the people with kids are the other 1% that get f*cked, the whats up. also great idea with the skrunchy, you could also look at a plumbing store for pipe insulation since it will aready be in the round shape you are looking for.....
Also be warned on what kind of material you use because it will wear the paint off of the spring!!Too late for my front works shocks paints about gone!!
