just thought i'd pass this on, i had a 96 atk 260lq 2 stroke enduro that needed engines repairs. so instead of putting the loads of money into it i sold the engine, gave away the frame, and used the 260cc exhaust on my sons 240 big bore stroker blaster.
it sounds amazing and flows better than my toomey did.
plus it runs out to the side of the engine instead of over the top where the other exhaust heats up the engine.
seriously worth doing, the stock lq260 silencer sounds awesome and the head pipe lets you get that famous yamaha 2 stroke sound.
plus being the exhaust is from a 260cc 2stroke it really breathes well.
just cut the stock blaster exhaust flange and cut off the 260 pipe flange and weld the blaster on in it's place.
and alot cheaper to buy a used atk 260lq exhaust from a salvage yard than to buy a toomey or yoshi.
