I had recently posted a problem reguarding an air leak. I thought it was my left side crank seal, after removing my flywheel and stator I discovered that the air was leaking out of one of the stator screw holes. When I had my cases split during the rebuild I noticed that part of my case was pushed in/over slightly ( I'm guessing from when my piston skirt broke ) but did not see any cracks or holes. One of the screws holding my stator plate on was extremely hard to unscrew, so that's obviously the part of my case that got pushed in. I'm assuming theres probably not be an easy fix for this ? I may attempt filling the screw hole with some type of liquid gasket ( maybe some rtv ? ) or some other filler that will still allow me to remove the stator screw in the future if and when I need to, or splitting the cases AGAIN and welding the part that was effected with some loctite epoxy weld that's rated for 300 degrees plus and over 3000 psi. Any other ideas or input would be great ! Or if you wanna tell how bad of luck I have that's cool too : (
