Until you do some diagnostic "legwork" it's sort of difficult to play "pin the tail on the blasty" with all of the problems it COULD be.

You will need to make sure that the engine is performing properly. The best ways to do that are the perform a cold cranking compression test and a leakdown test. That will tell you if the engine itself is having trouble or if the problem is fuel/air related. Once you've ruled out the engine itself being the problem, it's easier to troubleshoot carburetor issues.

To start off, what jets are installed? What's the current condition of the quad ( airbox lid on/off, aftermarket pipe installed?) and what have you done so far to it? What did the mechanic says EXACTLY he did to it?

well all i no is i got airbox on with a couple holes in it , fmf full exhaust , and i think some boysen reeds. idk bout jets im the second ownerr

ok heres the 1st question that comes to my mind ( blaster related ) WAS IT RUNNING sh*tTY BEFORE YOU TOOK IT IN? anshwer that 1st , then we can go from there . Cause if everything was great before your mechanic worked on it , and now its running different , he changed something .

well thanks for everything guys, i found my problem i took off my gas tank and found that my spark plug was half way out of the hole!!!

lesson learned.....................never let that jackwagon mechanic touch your sh*t ever again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A "mechanic" couldn't find a loose plug? Damn! As stated above ^^^^ STAY AWAY FROM THAT GUY! BTW- his name wouldn't happen to be Angus would it?

guys guys, hes the best mechanic ever, he didnt look at the plug cause he said it sounded like it was floodin out ! all you members stop hatin on my mechanic hes been nominated for best mechanic at the co op and does fantastic work

seems kinda fishy such an awesome mechanic wouldn't check to see if it was getting good spark, or at least try a new plug....either way he should have figured it out.
anytime you need help with stuff ask away on here bro! way more of us than you think can talk you through any procedure on a blaster
