Fat tires will look better and lighten your wallet a bit but she prolly won't know the difference unless she's racing. Usually it's the parents that want the hot setup ...LOL... The spacers really stabilize the LT80. Lotsa little mods you can do as she learns & needs more performance. Those quads are bullet proof if you do the maintenance.

Here's fat tires with a wide DuraBlue axle on one of our beater LT80's. Our LT80 with the stock tires like yours & spacers works better on our trails than the fat tires :)

Just for fun here's the alky carb I built for one of our LT80's. Don't know what got into me...Burp!

yeah most people put wheel spacers on them with zero problems because they are small enough. I seen a kit where you can put 300ex a arms on them as well.

We have one that we just rebuilt and are gonna do some heavy susp mods for racing. I know a few secrets here and there to make them flip over backwards with a 250lb man on it. I:I

wow, don't know how I missed this thread back in june... I just redid the kids LT80 last week/this week. changed the crank bearing and put a fresher top end on. put a milled head on it while I was at it and put all the rollers back in the variator lol. has good top speed now. but it does have the midwest mini speed gearing so I'd expect it... I'm actually looking to get rid of the 18x9.5"s off ours soon as well as the 20" fronts. gonna try some snow hogs front and back 18x6.5" performance over looks lol. I'm sure it will look silly but eh, it's ok so long it rips :D

I'll try to get some current pix up sometime :) but here's an older one :)
