I need a longer throttle cable for the kart. Maybe 1' longer than stock? Do they make such an animal? I still have the TORS on the carb if that matters, but it will be unhooked...

Yea i would get the tors removal kit so you can run a standard throttle cable. that way you can maybe seach Ebay for a cable that is as long as you need. Your going to be pretty limited as far as getting a cable that will fit with the TORS still attached.
So if I get the tors removal cap, what cables can I use? I have looked for longer cables, tors or not with no luck.
i am looking at the tors eliminator kit on ebay right now, it comes with the cap and the cable assembles, just screw in and go, you do need to get a new idle screw.
once youve elimanted that, you can get a univeral cable that you cut to length and crimp/solder the end on.
I had found the TORS removal kits, just not longer cables. Can you provide a link to one of these "universal cables"?

once you loose the TORS you can pretty much use any throttle cable that is for a motorcycle or quad that is in the length you need.
I mean i dont know how long you are looking for but here is a link to one that is 66 inches long....Thats pretty long for a throttle cable

Ah I see. I'll have to look when I get home to see how the cable hooks into the slide on the carb side. Seems like I would need a specific shape ferrule.
