Some of them jsut sit in your computer "watching" every move you make, and some when you open the file, instant kaboom lol. A good antivirus will deal great with all the trojans, but you never know what new sh*t comes out, which has happen.

And by just entering a website, you get trojans and sh*t, not just downloading files. I recommend downloading your stuff from forums(less likely to harm).

But if you have an awesome MAc, then is torrentz through torrentz and porn sites without a problem LMAO!

well, its not frostwire or limewire itsel that gets u the virus, its the files, if you make sure it is the right length and the title is right then it should be ok, u can also do other checks, heres a link listing them

also on FROSTWIRE there is now a junk button, so if it is a virus, you can mark it and it will be deleted, heres from the frostwire site
Q: How does the Junk button work?
A: If you see a search result that is not relevant to your query or one that appears to be a virus of some sort, you can now mark it as Junk by selecting it and then clicking the "Junk" button. Over time, FrostWire learns which files are relevant and which ones are not. If a relevant file has been marked as Junk by the filter, then you can mark it as "Not Junk". When you feel confident that FrostWire has learned which files should be marked as junk, then you can instruct FrostWire to hide all junk results by going to Tools > Options > Filters > Junk.
