He guys this might be a long shot and not for sure if im posting in right spot. But anyway I just picked up a trx450r today and it has a lectron carb. The guys supposedly said it was set up for alcohol and all that. But I'm just wondering if you guys know anything. Like what it's worth if its a good carb etc... Thanks for any help.

Lectron carbs are the best to run alcohol with yes.

The bike itself had ported and polished head, Cam, big bore. I bought the bike in pieces cases were split cause the crank went bad. I'm going to part it out just wondering what it's worth.
A bit, measure the carb and then check ebay for prices. im guesing its going to be a 40mm or larger

I'll get the measurements. If you look at the pics there is two jets that are drilled into it. The guy said that was for the alcohol. I was thinking nos? And the bowl says Packard on it possibly custom made?
I run Lectrons myself, i have a 32mm on my red bike. What you have is a 44mm Lectron with a Packard billet bowl. The 2 holes you have in it are actually for power jets. There used to add extra fuel in the upper rpm range. Usually only 1 is needed for a 2 stroke but since you have 2, I would agree and say its set up for alchy. What # metering rod is in it?

Its the rod "needle" that is in the slide. Lectrons dont use jets they use an individual metering rod, kinda lime a needle but different. If you lift the slide the rod will have numbers stamped on it. They may be worn off or faded and hard to see.
Kinda hard to see in pic but if you take the slide out you should be able to get the #s..
