I run the Hobart 140 MIG. I have a 110 version and the 220 version. GREAT for beginners and experienced welders

mine has treated me good as well.

Best move you can do, reason i urge classes is because in the past i have taught basic and advanced classes for stick ,mig and tig welding at my local college and it will help you decide what you need to buy as far as equipment as well as make mistakes useing the schools machines. A basic mig class shouldnt cost more than a 100 bux plus a book or two and the info you will gain will be a tremendous help.
