I have been looking for good deal on a mx bike for a while. I found this kx125 on craigslist. He is asking $1000 obo. Let me know what you think. Here is a pic.

The only problem is that he says it leaks oil because there is a broken seal where the clutch actuator is. (see pic)

I need to know where i can find a seal like this.

What year is it? Looks like mid 90s. I think you could probably find a better deal on a newer one or at least get it cheaper. 700-800 maybe?

I'd prefer an RM125, but if you can get that for $700 it would a decent deal, did you check ebay for the part? if not, the stealership would be the place to go, a seal can't cost that much.

Kawi-sucki lol...

The kx series of kawasaki bike happen to be a very respectable bike. I am and always will be a kawi fan. How bout their 450? Yes, it is not the fastest 450 on the market, but with a couple of mods, boy does the kfx 450 come alive. I personally beleive the kfx 450 responds to, mod for mod, better than any other 450 out there. What sucks is there are not many people building the kfx450 to the teeth. Everyone just gets the yfz and calls it good. Very disappointing in my opinion.

^^ i completely agree, i'm either getting a yfz or a kfx in the next yr, prolly a kfx, the only reason the kfx is bad is casue of the POS intake from the factory, but back to the bikes, i think u may be able to find a better deal, just keep lookin

by the way, sorry bout the thread jack.

And blasterboy, the intake problem can easily be fixed with an aftermarket intake. The aftermarket parts people know about the crap intake and are already taking advantage of it with some very awesome high flow parts.

I just hate kawesaki period the ones that we have had/have now are always needing repair. Even my dads friends kawis always are in need of work. But don't forget that's my opion. It's what you want that matters.

It sprobably going to sound wierd but although hondas are fairly reliable bikes(lol) they happen to be my least favorite quad/bike manufacturer out their. I love kawisaki and yamah then a little ktm and suzuki. Now polaris, not a fan of them either except their rangers and rzrs. My uncle just ppicked up a 4x4 500 ranger and boy is that thing a blast. Wish he would have gotten the 800xp. Or better yet the rzr sport lolz.
