Knocking sound

ok my blaster started to make this knocking nose about 2 weeks ago, and i thought my motor was done for but i pulled the jug off and every thing was fine rings were in the right spot no major scratches just normal ones, i put the moto together last night and had it ideling in my garage and it starts to knock when it is in low idle ill rev it up and it will be fine until it gets back into idle then it will start agan. so i dont know where this nosie is coming from my motor is relitivly fresh new crank and piston and bore maybe 3 months ago. whats my problem?

it never did it before i had it rebuilt though,plug is cardboard brown perfect, and it seems to do it when i pull the clutch half way in but sometimes it wont do it so im stumped

mine did it for like 2 1/2 month then my piston broke and since i rebuilt it it doesnt knock anymore

but a motor should last more than 3 months shouldnt it? well at least im not the only one

mine started knocking and running wierd yesterday so your not the only one mine revs up high on its own when it gets warmed up too

just got done riding the blaster she road like none other for some reason so i hope when i go to start it 2marro she will run. my motors getting to be a pain. and wiseco pistons are getting to be junk, im going with Pro-X next build, why urs revin up mine did that today to and it corrected it self.

i havent had a chance to mess with it today but im thinking it might be an air leak or the reeds i had to adjust the idle when i first started it and wasnt getting much response from the adjustments once i got it to idle it was fine for bout 30 minuits then it started knocking when it was at idle so it could be a carb problem too

Mine did it too. I didn't do anything about it and nothing really happened exept that my reeds broke. I don't think that had anything to do with it but it hasn't happened again scince i replaced them.

check you engine mounts, ano it doesn sound like it but i have the same problem, its my engine virbrating off the mounts. Just a susgestin
