Kickstarter removal

I have the nut off, but the lever is quite fused to the shaft with good bit of time-accumilated crap and corrosion, no doubt. Soaked with WD 40 for a good while, No luck yet. Anyone have any easy tricks or tips for getting the thing off without boogering up the cases trying to pry it off with a scredriver? Seems they were never this hard to get off on my MX bikes.

I would spray it with PB blaster and tap it lightly with a hammer. Then lightly try to pry it off.

Try some acid or something, when I clean stuff i get it done right

Got it! Hammer and punch from the backside. Would not have worked if I wasn't lucky enough to have the carb and airbox off anyway.
