Kickstart issues

Good evening my fella blasters,

I was out riding my blaster I died out after doing some donuts. Tried to kick start it but my kick start won't allow me to push it down to start it up. I pushed it about a mile or two. My thing is why can't the kick start be pushed down to start the engine?

Might of seized the piston

CAn it be unseized

take spark plug out/take flywheel cover off see if you can spin flywheel with your hand/with shifter/transmission in neutral
or just try spinning flywheel with your hand
it could have seized or hot seized then free itself when cooled down.
or you got a kickstarter issue......

So a hot seized can cause this ? I was in some water when this happen. Flywheel is the side with fluids correct? So I have to take spark plug off before doing flywheel spin?

no
flywheel is on the left side...by your foot shifter.
just unscrew it no oil is held in that area it is ok to take it off and check.
actually it is recommended in owners manual that you do take it off to check for condinsation/anyways lol

what im try to tell you is see if the engine will spin freely....if it does then probably the kicker,but i would check if engine turns at all before rippin apart stuff

yes to be more clear unscrew the plastic cover then try turning the round circle thing lol

it Won't spin by hand.. What's next?

Time to leak test to see if the engine is air tight before up you remove any more parts.

Then after the leak test, remove the head and cylinder to inspect for damage.

but if indeed you are correct summin is not spinning freely.?
either your piston/ slash crank connecting rod is jammed,or a flywheel magnet is jammed on stator,or it is clutch side issue....if you cant get the engine to turn at all ...regardless of the kickstarter then summin is jammed..

Depends on how mechanically inclined you are, and if you can follow direction. Blaster motors aren't that complicated, but you have to follow certain steps. Get a tester on it and test for leaks.
