kick start

ok i just got the quad gettin i all back together and what not but when i tried to kickstart it the kickstart wouldnt return back to the up posistion you ave to reach down and pull it up, whats wrong with it?

you prolly broke the spring around the kick starter gear, i would pull off the kick starter and pop off the clutch cover and take a look it ..

well i did that but the springs both looked fine to me

you dont have the spring in that little hole that holds it in place...

^^^ is pro'lly right... there is a small hole that the spring clips into that you have to put it in to or else the spring just sits there serving no purpose besides taking up space... haha.. cuz it needs to be hooked to that to expand so when you let off the kickstarter it can snap back in to place..
