kenda klaw?

do you know they handle i want something that will slide decent but get decent traction on straightaways if you what other kinds of tires are good for that im welcome to suggestions

My buddy has kenda klaws on his raptor. They're a good tire, great grip in all sorts of terrain and they slide out nice when you want them to, not if you don't want them to. The only gripe he has is that they're pretty soft compound and wear kinda fast.

Might consider the ITP Mud Lite AT (not the SP) in 20-22" variety. They hook up, can slide around when you want them to, and it's a harder compound. I had them for 8-9 months before the blaster they were on got stolen, but they showed pretty much zero wear in that time.

thanks how are razrs or itp holeshots how do they handle

razrs and hole shots are basically the same tire. I know there are different variations of them in terms of lug size and spacing....and I think it makes a difference.

I had a set of hole shots on the blaster with the smaller lugs and tighter spacing (pics are on here somewhere) and they're a decent all around tire, but not so good for muddy stuff. My friend has some with the larger lugs and a lot more spacing between them and I think that they're much better, but still not mud tires!! the larger ones with the spaced out lugs definitely do better for woods riding than the tighter stuff. They are great tires for what they're made for but I got ride of mine because I wanted a more agressive tire. I do whip around sandy dirt roads a lot and they're ideal for that but I also hit really steep rocky trials and muddy trails that sport quads really have no business being on, so I prefer a mud tire like a Mud Lite or Kenda Klaw for the type of riding I do. I see you're from Winchendon and if I had to guess I'd say you'd probably like a mud tire better unless you stick to the pits and old railroad beds.

Worth noting is that it seems like all the Xcountry national sport quad racers run the hole shots/razrs......not sure why though.

they are great, they handle well on any dirt or grass or loose surface, if u do alot of gravel road riding u might want different, they kinda push thru corners in gravel, i love my mxf's, get them, 100% recommendation, and they're evn 4 ply

I've got razrs, I like em quite a bit. I don't race or anything but they do pretty well in about everything and seem to hold up pretty well. I'm probably going to get something similar when I need some new tires. I don't go mudding much because my Nephew and friends dirt bikes would get hung up. But they are still a great all around tire.

i have kenda claws and they are amazing they slide and hook up really good i do a lot of gravel riding and they are great for that too i don't like how they are only 4 ply i have a hole in one of them now but not bad i do a lot of riding in the thorns

ive seen them kutters freeks using advertised, they seem good. mines got holeshots on the front and turf tamers[haha] on the back.
its not much of a prob on big fourstrokers but on a lil' blaster the last thing i want is too loose bottom end grunt because the tires are heavy so im guna run it with tamers for a bit then might get some kutters, or the quadcross from itp.
