Keihin cvk34

i was wondering if anyone has ran a keihin cvk34 carb on their blaster..

i have a blaster with fmf fatty pipe and pc2 silencer, airbox lid off with a 270 main jet, stock carb.

also have a kawasaki mojave that has a keihin cvk34 and was wondering if i could use the 34 carb on my blaster. i have a spacer intake and boot for a bigger carb that would fit the blaster and 34 carb.

If that Kawi is a 4poke, carb won't work.

4 stroke carbs are usually not suitable for 2 stroke engines.

I would be inclined to do a plug chop to confirm your jetting, a #270 main seems lean to me!

thanks for the replies.

i started with a 290 and it bogged. tried to get a 280 and they didnt have it in stock. i put needle in the middle today and it helped the throttle reponse. (raised clip up one) definitely need to do some plug chops.

might try to put 290 back in and raise needle clip one more notch.

We run 270 mains in our bikes with same mods. Mostly for 80 degree days.

Definitely leave the needle in the middle position!

Plug chop the #270 it may well be ok!
