Lately I have been going through plugs on the blaster like crazy. Its all stock except the oil pump has been discontinued. When I put a new plug in it runs great but after about 2 gal of gas it will start to sputter at mid rpm and doesnt want to go into the power band. If i keep riding it just gets worse and then finnally dies all together. When I take the plug out it looks wet and slightly oily, not burnt oil though. Even if I clean the plug and put it back in it will only crank for a sec then die out but plug looks fine. It doesnt smoke exsessivly and doesnt smell like tranny oil burnin. I was mixing my gas 32:1 but now i am doing 40:1 and that did seem to lengthin the plug life but it is still dying after about 2.5 gallons. It seems to do it worse when i let someone who puts it around ride. I hope yall can help.
Thanks

you are running rich, try leaning your jetting out a tad. like one size. make sure your air filter is clean.

1.Make sure you are using the rite plug.
2.Make sure your not running to rich.
3.you may not have a very strong spark that's not leting the plug clean itself.

That's just my advice.I'm not a pro.

Ahhh air filter thats probably it. Havent looked at that in a while. Thanks.

How often do you guys clean and oil your air filters. I dont ride to much, mabey a few hours a week, but it is pretty dusty lately.

Thanks again

Yes I believe its the right plug it B8ES. I think its prob the air filter. I have been neglecting it. This is just lately this has been happening so I dont think its the jetting. Hopefully not the coil.
Thanks Guys

I'm not a clean freek, but that's one of my pet peeve's, Besides it's usually filthy even with and outerware box cover it gets sh*tty.

Yea I am prob fing something up. Now I am scared to even look at it, it hassnt been cleaned in a while. Poor blaster. Whish I had some cash to drop into it.

Yea I know I am a dumbass. I didnt relize it needed to be cleaned that often. Also it is both mine and my brothers blaster and he never does any mantenance so I have been neglecting it latley. He will clean it this time. Thanks everyone

if you ride dry, non dusty places, it doesn't need clean that often, if you ride once in a super dusty place, you need to clean it right away.
to be honest, most of the time, i dont clean mine for months because i dont ride in places that dirty the filter up. but after last ride, my filter was brown from dust.
