if im correct they are made in Thailand but are actually a great machine and always got high ratings.. they were gr4owing popularity but suddenly stopped not sure what happened but there were a great deal of companys making racing parts for them because at the time it was the only true sport 250cc, at one point they even made some pretty cool large atvs.. if i remember correctly lots of the parts are interchangeable with honda parts,, its actually a 400ex knock off
