I'm going to switch up to a Uni filter from k&n. I've been reading a bit and it seems as though the Uni will restrict air flow a bit more. If I made the switch and took off the air box lid( currently running with it on) would that be about the same flow with the k&n with the lid, or do you think I'd have to rejet. I'll do some plug chops when I make the switch, just trying to get an idea though.

i think you will have to rejet, taking the lid off is a huge change as far as airflow is concerned.
if u do go open boxed u will need to rejet k&n are a waist bc they suck more fine dirt into the motor causeing prem. wear to the pistion rings.
