K&N Filter....

How do you clean these filters?

Mines is caked in mud and dust.... Is it time for the bin and get a uni?

Or can it be cleaned?

Any help would be appreciated!

Soak it in warm soapy water.

Do this in a bucket, not a sink lol

Soak it, and rub it off with your fingers. Let dry for at least 2-3 hours to ensure dried

Is that oil/spray a must as it needs cleaned asap before my next outing at the weekend but this wont arrive in time?

yes, u need oil on the filter

You might be able to find a K&N re-charger kit locally. I know a few parts store chains carry them in the states.

The filter oil is what traps the dirt. Check your local auto parts store the filter oil.
