just picked up two blasters..hoping to rebuild

hi, im new to the forum and i justed bought two blasters. One is a roller and the other just needs crank seals and top end. Hoping to get at least one running and maybe part the other one out or try to get a motor for it too. any tips on how to begin let me know. planning on tearing one down and maybe painting frame and fenders. i will be asking lots of questions bcuz ive never owned a two stroke. any tips let me know. thanks

fist tip- use the search function... second tip- put on some heavy duty repellent to avoid the mod bug or you will be a broke owner of 2 blasters, but hey they're hella fast

with a stock pipe dont expect anything to nice sounding. it mostly just a quiet reving sound. no pinging like with an aftermarket pipe.

fmf would be a pretty good one for you. There relatively cheap. Also a toomey

any used pipe is gonna be the best for your money, as long as its in decent shape with no dings. u can usually find used fmf's pretty cheap. there not the best which is why people get rid of them, but there a decent pipe. wayyy better then stock and they sound pretty good.
