i'm finally done taking it easy on my fresh top end, and new wiseco crank i just feel like it has less power? i switched my gas from 50;1 to 32:1 and that could be it they said they adjusted my carb, clutch and throttle it seems like i go through 1,2,3rd very fast with out the pull it used to hav ? any ideas i went a month with out it so maybe i just expect to much

If they adjusted your carb, maybe you're running too rich now and you're not getting a full powerband. If you're going through gears too fast, get a bigger front sprocket.

i do feel like my power band is shorter i'm confused with the carb adjustment i have a blue racing needle in it i've never adjusted it my self i've never even checked my jetting somthing i need to learn but i just feel over whelmed by it

Do me a favour give your clutch cable some slack by your clutch lever. It might be set to tight and resulting that your cluch is slightley pulled in.I had that problem on a nother bike.

let me know if that was the problem.

Hey dont be... Its really easy once you've done it a couple times. It took me 5 mins to put my new jets in!! You probably just need to tune the air/fuel screw better.

they didn't tell me what they did they just said they adjusted it for me i'll pull the plug tomorrow after i install my 14 tooth sprocket and see what it tells me

50:1 has more gas per volume available to the motor (richer) than dose 32:1. Also a 32:1 mix has a higher relative density makeing it run leaner.

i've always used "richer" as the term for more oil in your gas/oil ratio, but i see what you are saying just misunderstood your wording. so what you are saying is he is just getting too much gas to his motor, right?

At 32:1 he is running a little leaner (fuel) than he was at 50:1 but we are only talking maybe 1/2 to 1 jet size. I think he needs to find out just what they did to his carb first. Then maybe go back to the 50:1 and see if it makes any diffrence.

i think 50:1 started my whole prob. i'm going to mess with the air screw a little does it have only a few turns in it out could i screw it all the way out? which way will lean the gas flow? and will i know immediately when its idleing? any help would be appresheated

I thought 32:1 had more oil and 50:1 had less oil

ya....32:1 is richer then 50:1.....50:1 is pretty lean....but also depends on what oil you run.....but that would be crazy lean for me...i run 32:1 and alot of guys run 40:1 but havent really heard of 50:1 maybe unless your running like race gas with like 110 octane

You hit that nail on the head. The MORE oil you put into it, the LEANER it will run because there is LESS gas. It might smoke more making it seem like you made it run rich, but your putting more oil into and LESS fuel and its actually leaning out the mixture.
