Just got a new dirt bike

well why would anyone want a 2 stroke i kno a kid a 2 stroke and four stroke same size motors stcok vs stock four stroke kills mod for mod four strokes kills them with top end and bottom end he says however that makes sense im not sure cuz my 201 blaster with a silnicer and a droped one tooth front sprockets eats up a 350 rappy with a pipe and air filter

yea but i have a older 125 2 stroker, and the thing is is that i rather have the 4 then 2, i think the 4 is harder to handle

right, your 4 stroke is harder to handle. mostly cause of how much more it weighs than the old 2 stroke. but if they were both the same year bike they would match up farily well minus the weight difference.

The rm is 26 years older, so the suspension on the 4 joke is a whole new world. but i dont see why atvkid keeps saying he would rather have is bike because it is harder to handle, wouldent you want the bike thats easier to handle?? Not bashing just wondering.

im sorry, but stop waffling rubbish mate. ive been on many 2stroke bike and many fourstrokes, granted ive not ridden a 250f...... but ive ridden a 450f and my old 400f, basically they are faster and have way more power/torque than my old kx125. they were a doddle to ride, fair play you mash open the throttle and you need to use all your strength to hold on to em, but the power delivery was way smoother than my 2 stroke, you could go into a slow corner in 3rd and just open it up coming out and it just kept pulling, you need to remeber what gear your in on a 2 stroke, and think about your rpm and shift all the time. 4 strokes are much easier to ride in that respect, the power is predicatable and smooth. you try getting on a 2 stroke like say a cr250 or kx250 and saying its smooth and predictable lmfao, it'll spit you off the back the second you hit the powerband if your not used to it. but yeah your bike will be alot heavier too, but in no way is it harder to controll. good 2strokes are animals, 4 strokes are plodders- sure nowadays they are getting realy fast but they will always be plodders lol.

sorry bro, i dont blame you to be honest, i like your bike alot too. even though its thrills riding a 450 im better on a 125 or probably a 250 like yours, im not that heavy or tall, so imk better suited to a smaller bike, id love a blast on that 250f to see what they are all about.
