Jetting?

Ok so ive been reading some posts about rejetting. I read a post about if you take your air filter cover removed, you have to rejet the carb. But im not sure what main jet i should get, i'm thinking about a 340. Whats your guys thought?

um that way to big for just taking the airbox lid off id try a 270 and see how it looks then you have been around long enough to know that more air in or out of the motor means you got to rejet and you been runing no lid for awhile havent you

jet kits are usless you better off buying single jets from a dealer

Yea like hudack said....way to big...I ran a 350 with a 240 kit, bill's pipe/silencer, vf3's, no lid with a uni....I'd say a 270 would be a.good place rpm start...and might be damn near dead on.....
