ok so i have a 300 main in my carb and my only engine mods are: Uni airfilter, airbox lid removed, and my shearer pipe, it seems awesome past quarter throttle but before quarter throttle it seems like it's weak.... so my pilot must be lean......also my carb is leaking fuel...... its dripping pretty fast.....so what could cause that?!?! jetting sure is tedious.n thanks!

if its leaking check the float height it need to be at 20 - 22mm. tuen carb upside down take the gasket off an put a ruler on the rim where the gasket sits an messure to the top on the float the actully plastic floats. it need to be in the range of 20 -22 mm i just did that to mine 5 mins ago lol

clean the carb.. if its leakin gas from the vent tubes.. your floats are stickin and not alowing them to stop fuel from entering the bowl, which causes the fuel to come out of the fent tubes... take the carb off and clean it out really good and make sure the floats move freely..

as for pilot, read my jetting info thread on here... that wil tell you what you need to know grass hoppa

adjust the air screw start at 1.5 turns out and fine tune it from there if you go all the way in and its still not good you need a bigger pilot and visversa

thanks guys! ive given to much rep in the last 24 hrs so i have to wait......... and its not leaking through the tubes:-/ just the bowl

you need a new gasket then...if your in a pinch try some rtv

yep or like i did i have a bunch of espesties sittin around... i know its not good for are health but thats what all the gaskets use to be made from haha lol...
