I am just going back to a stock carb.
It has the stock jets in it now 230 main.
I have a FMF pipe and silencer and a boysen rad valve with carbon fiber reeds. I will be running the stock breather tube to the airbox with lid and a K&N. I was thinking about bumping it up to 280-300 on the main and was thinkinng that should get it pretty close.
What say you fellas :-/

hey resto how ya been man...long time no see, glad to see ya still have the blasty

yea a 270 to 300 is right about where ya want to be with those mods

Thanks guys, just wanted some reassurance. I haven't messed with the blaster in a few years now.
blasterfreek30: Good to see you here holding down the fort, I have run over alot of bumps in the road the past couple of years. I would never let go of my blaster though, when I fell on hard times a freind was nice enough to store the blaster in a safe place for me. I picked it up a couple of months ago and it looked just like it did when I parked it. I switched the gas/carb. out that had been sitting and it actually started on the second kick after not starting for atleast 2 years.
unfortunatly pretty well all of my other possesions had to be sacrificed including the rail and the 450, The blaster just meant to much to me.
Anyhow, good to be back and doing well.

I would say 260-270 should be about right with using the lid. My 01 had a 240 in it when I got it with a K&N and Fatty with lid. I think it was a little too lean. I changed to a Uni Foam, Boyesen dual stage carbon reeds, and removed the lid. Rejetted to 270. Seemed great except rich on the bottom. Would bog slightly. Didnt get a chance to finish dialing it it and do plug chops before I sold it.
