I really hope this isn't the wrong section to post this if it is I'm sorry

anyways looking for a base line to get it jetted right

Blaster bored 80 over using a K&N pod (i threw the old plastics and airbox junk off it) and the pipe is stock and I have a toomey silencer on it. I run 32:1

Main is 240 and pilot is 32.5 at the moment I was told a 240 should be what i needed (but then I went out and got the POD filter) it doesn't want to idle right at all (motor has plenty of compression and was put backtogether recently)

ok today I took my 280 out of my banshee carb and threw it in and now I can actually 1 kick start it again

it will rev up now but still tricky to get to idle and it puts out more smoke than normal I have not looked at the clip setting yet I guess I'll check it later I know i couldn't have a blown gasket leaking since they are new that are on it and I'm running the copper head gasket....

any advice

hey 8-bal this is yamahaguy16 from e2s is it boging or over reving and maybe u can just adjust the idle screw

nice to see ya! it was over reving then i backed down the cable at the thumb (i had it set to where it would idle with the other jet in) so i backed it down and i can somewhat make it idle decent but it bogs like crazy I looked and seen the clip setting wa son the VERY bottom so I plan on raising it up... whenever i get a new clip (i lost the freaking thing)

i wouldn't ride in mud w/out the airbox, but i'd say at least the 280. you really have to jet up when u take the airbox lid off, and completely removing it would give even more air. i run a 340 with my mods....

but the only way to really tell is to look at the plug. look under the diy section for jetting, it'll tell ya what ya need to know.
