right now im running pretty rich(wet plug and lots of pretty blue smoke) i want to rejett but the temps have be up and down lately. today it was in th 70s all day and drops to the 60s and 50s at night. but at anygiven time it can jump back up to the 80s and 90s.

without buying a sh*t ton of jets and changing them everyday how can i stay atleast a lil ahead of the weather if its even posible.

just stay a little richer. take note of what the average days are like and jet a little rich to stay ahead and then just try not to foul plus(SO RIP ER) and deal with less power.

When I ride the Banshee in the winter I pit the airbox lid back on. Seem to fatten her up just enough.

so if i have my blaster jetted w/o the lid on for the summer. In the winter i'd just have to put the lid back on???

i wish it was that simple for me, i have no airbox.

i just finished ridin around a bit and its like almost 80 right now. i finaly got it to idle right but the throttle is still a lil sluggish in first and second but after that it flies. would tweeking the air/fuel screw help this some ?

The air box lid thing is just a jetting tool I use on the Banshee. I'll also mix in 10%-20% E85 in the hot summer months to lean her out a little and boost octane a point or two. Call me lazy but it does take twice as long to jet a Banshee.

Bottom line is YOU MUST DO YOUR OWN JETTING. What works for me may not work as good or at all for you. Every bike is different and reacts differently to mods and there are so may things that affect jetting. For example, volumetric efficiency (how much air can the motor move), atmospheric pressure (Altitude), temperature of the air, temperature of the fuel, relative humidity, specific gravity of the fuel. ect. ect. I’ll bet some of you didn’t that your float level will affect jetting.
