changed out my old carb for a different of the same stock model. i completely removed all the tors crap that screws onto the top of the carb. thing runs pissah until 3rd gear high RPM and it just completely cuts out. doesnt shut off, just cuts out for a couple seconds. any ideas as to why this might happen? ill try to get a video/sound clip in the next day or two so people can listen and tell me what they think. thanks guys!

The floats could need adjusted or it could be a loose wire somewhere. I had a similar problem with mine and it turned out to be a ground wire which was loose.
could be, ill check out the wiring. i basically only have the CDI and ignition left on the bike, so maybe my ignition coil is coming loose?
