issues have been solved just getting some advice

just a little friendly advice. always wash your motor before opening any part of it. you don't want any of that junk ridin around in your crank chamber. and second i would suggest against the vertex piston. not trashin you just tellin you from expirience. when i first got my blasty it had a vertex in it and i melted that sob pretty bad. cast pistons are not nearly as strong as forged.

KTM uses Vertex for stock, as long as I keep this jetting right and make sure there is not any air leaks, it should stay together.

That's the key for any 2 stroke engine... the problem comes when the jetting is not right and it develops an airleak without you noticing it.

If something blows, I want it to smear down the cylinder and stop dead in it's tracks. Cast pistons have a tendency to crumble and disintegrate before the crank stops allowing piston parts to find their way under the crank against the case and into all of the bearings.

Since you already have it, I'd run it. It should run fine as long as your jetting is right and you keep an eye out for airleaks. I would recommend a monthly air leak test just to be on the safe side and if anything starts to make funny noises, pull it don't wait.

Oh, and a four point siezure comes from not allowing the engine to warm up properly before tearing off on it, the pistons swells tight into the cylinder before the cylinder has a chance to swell from the heat.

Um, i let the bike warm up 5-10 mins on low idle....i'd say the air leak was the case too!!! I wanna know how to make my own air leak tester...going to ace hardware tomorrow...
