No compression on kick starts, quad will roll almost like in neutral when in gear, WONT START! Any suggestions?

Yes, my little (big) cousin was on it. Redlining it, bc he really can't ride. Was sputtering as if out of gas, then just died. Bad news is, he doesn't have money to replace it. Good news is, he is going to college in NC to play OLB. Maybe in 3-4 years, he can repay me, if the NFL makes it that long...
Sounds like a blown top end. Take that sucker apart and get out your camera! Pictures will deffinately help with your situation, we all will help figuire out whats wrong with it!

Be willing to bet he burned up the rings and the piston, Hope there isnt more damage then that. I wouldnt have been letting him ride it if he isnt that good on toys like that. Kinda like letting a virgin have a night with your sister.
Do a Comp. check, if its low, You need a new top-end simple as that lol
no personal experience with this kit, but if you're on a budget then it may work for you, if you can spend a few extra bucks go for a Wiseco top end rebuild kit, They are the best PERIOD.

Thanks to all who have replied. Sent it to the guys at the shop, and was tired of fooling with it. Sold it as is for $500. My buddy bought it. Kicker is, I only traded an Ipod, a few ps3 games, and 2 pellet guns for it. So I'm still to the good. Also traded a pup for a 2001 Raptor which was sick when I got it. After 2 new carbs, some plugs, and an oil change, I'm beasting!!! Pulled up nxt to blaster while in 2cnd gear, and my buddy was in 5th on blaster, hit the gas and passed him w/o shifting to 3rd!!!
