is my key way on the flywheel sheared

it sometimes will start and wen it does it will cut in and out at any throttle position i have no tors and it has weak spark

Very likely, it happens a lot on blasters. Just take the cover off and see if the flywheel is abnormally loose. If it is just put a new key in, they're only like .20 cents.

I wouldnt, it can send your piston to the head if you arent careful. But alot of ppl do it...

i would not buy one of the +4 timing keys, there like 20 dollars and they shear more easily then the stock timing key. If you want to adjust timing i recommend an adjustable timing plate.

It wont make the piston hit the head. the piston travels the same distance no matter what the timing is.

maybe some thing is up with your stator, cause i worked on a blaster that had a broken flywheel key and it still had great spark. but i would get a flywheel puller and pull the flywheel and see if she is broken..

it depends on how it breaks. If it shears it clean off the flywheel can spin on the crank and have no spark at all or it can break and lodge the flywheel off god knows how many degrees and not fire on the compression stroke, both causing it to not run, or run for second and shut off
