dont even think about any of that without a good exhuast pipe, the pipe makes all the difference

if you want great low end to tear up some hills check out a shearer pipe i have one and i have some serious low end.


what your gonna wanna get if you wanna be really fast is a port and polish with redesigned head from a reputable builder. like flotek, kennedy powersports, or wildcard. theres a few that know what their doing with a blaster. get a bigger carb like a pj34 or a pwk 33 to 35. ask the builder that is doing your build to sleeve a cylinder with a 240cc kit. then get a +3 mm stroker. some vf3 reeds and a good air filter and you should be good to go. if you jet the bike right it wont blow up! keep it well maintained change the oil and check the plug and clean your air filter all the time and you will be set! i love my blaster and all i have is the 3mm stroker pwk33 carb and my port and polish from kennedy powersports with my shearer pipe and it made me sh*t myself when i first rode it. now im getting used to it and looking into a sleeved 240 ported for my 3mm. that will make me push around 53-55hp right now im at 33hp with around 28 ft. lbs. of tourqe. and a stock blaster has around 14hp. so there are alot of balls you can get outta these things just have to research. good luck.
 
Its up to you personally. This is just be, but the blaster is a tiny bike and I wouldnt dump thousands into it. Maybe a few hundred bucks into it to make it somewhat fast and look nice, but certainly not thousands. Not to mention, once you dump all that money into it, have fun trying to get it back! Just think long and hard about it. Just my 2 cents though, for what your looking for, i would just get a different quad.

well then i guess my 2 bikes were just lemons i had 1200! into my motor on my bike and could never keep it away from the shop (although i think it was the ass workin on my bike) i wound up sellin that one for 700 and this one i just got 3 weeks later it blew up! what is it with these damn blasters. i ran the best gas and the best oil i could buy locally at the atv store and it blew it up! now its in a million pieces and im not sure if i wanna go through this all over again with another blaster. all i want is a good looking really fast bike. can this be achived with a blaster?

guys please agree with me and shut this dude the f*ck up... if u cant read then dont post a 240 sleeved PORTED will push 53-55 hp. i dont give a flyin hoot what a ct240bbk will do. no one asked you did they? f*ckin pansy
 
dude im not tryin to argue im just stating the facts ill find some one to prove on of us wrong there is NO way a sleve will be better then a well designed ported 240 cylinder and i am NOT trying to start ne thing im just trying to tell u whoever told u that must be on meth
 
blasterracer817, i forget the exact name of the member i believe its MXsandracer87 or something like that, he went to kennedy for a port. he has a +3stroker standard bore while there he got it dyno tested and it was pushing out 37hp, so a ported 240 +3 stroker defintely has the potential for 50+hp

yea but there talking about about putting a sleeve for a 240 not an actual 240
 
thats what im saying kennedy can get 60 with a 240 cylinder but im pretty sure not a sleeve, a sleeve will add hp and ported will be nuts but im pretty sure it wont be around 55, specially if one of the best 240kits ported by ct is only 40
