dont even think about any of that without a good exhuast pipe, the pipe makes all the difference

if you want great low end to tear up some hills check out a shearer pipe i have one and i have some serious low end.
what your gonna wanna get if you wanna be really fast is a port and polish with redesigned head from a reputable builder. like flotek, kennedy powersports, or wildcard. theres a few that know what their doing with a blaster. get a bigger carb like a pj34 or a pwk 33 to 35. ask the builder that is doing your build to sleeve a cylinder with a 240cc kit. then get a +3 mm stroker. some vf3 reeds and a good air filter and you should be good to go. if you jet the bike right it wont blow up! keep it well maintained change the oil and check the plug and clean your air filter all the time and you will be set! i love my blaster and all i have is the 3mm stroker pwk33 carb and my port and polish from kennedy powersports with my shearer pipe and it made me sh*t myself when i first rode it. now im getting used to it and looking into a sleeved 240 ported for my 3mm. that will make me push around 53-55hp right now im at 33hp with around 28 ft. lbs. of tourqe. and a stock blaster has around 14hp. so there are alot of balls you can get outta these things just have to research. good luck.
