Is it possible to shine up and polish oem plastics?

Hi all.


MAYBE it was considering instead of a paintjob to re-shine and polish the original black plastics on ze Blaster..

However there was a lot of small scratches here and there.. so im gonna sand them down to the have a nice finish..

But by doing so, the plastic gets "white-ish" where you sand..

Can this later be polished somehow ? or with very fine sandpaper?

And then in the end super super polish so it look like carpaint with clear on it?!


Anybody done it?

yea i did it on my blue plastics came out great.. using paully's plastic restore technique..

Thanks ill consider this while i consider if i want to auto paint plastics..


I cant make up my mind.. because i dont want a paint that chips and get bad fast.. also i dont know if painted it i should only do topside of plastics.. because of all that dirt under.. plus its black under so thats nice enough to deep blue top

i painted mine they have help up fine .. no cracks or chips. its all in your prep work..

Did you paint your under also ? or only topside plastics?
