there has been quite a few irish riders on here although they dont seem to be too active

I'm Irish by decent. Never actually been to Ireland, but I plan to visit someday. You know, learn a little about my family history and see the country.
Here's a question maybe you can answer for me. Here in the states we don't hear much about the IRA but I'm sure you've all heard much more. Over here some say there hero's some say there terrorists. Whats your opinion of the IRA? of the British army? PM me if you want, I dont know if this might start a fight? I dont want it to, but I'm curious to here what the irish have to say.
