If you have seen this vid of the kx250 with that internally supercharged on youtube what do you think. The guy said he could do it to my blaster and he said it will be smoking all stock blasters. He also said it incress the life of the top end thoughts about this. Also can someone post this vid. its only 350$ to do.

yea thats what he called it internally supercharged when he does something to the crank idk just go on youtube and type in internally supercharged and it should come up. He says it pretty much make the quad in powerband when every you hit the throttle

oh brother ..that idea is as old as the hills .trinity was doing this back i nthe late 80's till people started realizing it wasnt worth the money becuase the power want there ,basicly you cut a knurl on the crankshaft halves to try and wick air up through the transfers at a faster rate as the crankkturns higher rpms ..calling it a supercharger is a bunch of nonsense they used to call these a turbo crank mod .the power is and always will be i nthe porting and the matched pipe o n a 2stroke design .but if you want to pay 350 dollars for slightly faster throttle response and keep the archaic 1970's porting ...then thats your business

he better be good and get them exactly right because it will def throw off the balance, because there is no way you can get it perfect, just give it to flotek and have it ported....

yeah flotek and phragle know, its a no go lol sounds like it would really mess with the bearings and create more vibrations to

yea im going to forget it then i thought it was something new lol never heard of it before it looks like he does a good job because he has alot of quads dirtbikes and snowmobiles he says he can even do chainsaws lol

hahha i no that would be the biggest waste of money on a chainsaw this guy is probley the texas chainsaw guy and he needs chainsaws that are bored out port polished and this lol

it's pretty pretentious to call knurling a supercharger.
a supercharger is supposed to be a unit that force feeds air into the intake, the knurling doesn't force feed anything.
the way i see it, knurling only accelerates flow through the transfers during the split millisecond when the exhaust port and transfer ports are open simultaneously. if you blow into a straw w/ your finger over the other end you're not moving any air.
also, wouldn't this adversely affect the pipe's ability to push the charge back into the combustion chamber?

the only time I think this would be usful would be like if your cuting tries that are like 5ft in diameter and you need good fire immagen like a 50cc chainsaw bored out to a 85cc port and polished runs on 110 race gas and this internallt supercharged thing lol youcould probley cut anything lol

I dont no it just look like a idea but now I think it would just screw up the motor big time

its nothing short of false advertisment ,it wont make hardly any gains at all and is kinda like attaching rabbit ears on your plasma screen tv to get better recpetion ..makes no sense when theres other problems /bottlenecks that need majorly addressed

i know right, from what i understand, the stock port timing and exhaust shape are a joke.
as well as the stock head design.
rectifying the restrictions in those parameters would be way more advantageous than cutting perfunctory impellers into the crank....
