Intake spacer

Yes sir, every time. They will just about fit without a reed spacer but I don't like how close it comes to the clutch arm.

Yup they come far too close to the clutch arm for my liking.

You may find that the powerband has moved a little up the pipe now.

nope, i must be the only one ?
i had about an 1/8" gap when using a stock style intake, and almost a 1/2" now with the pro-design intake i use now.

it's also possible to fudge the internal rod adjustment of the clutch slightly to bump the arm slightly forward to clear the carb bowl, but it requires a good understanding of the rod adjustment, and a perfect length, brand new clutch cable to do so, an old stretched cable will not pull the "advanced" arm far enuf to fully disengage the clutch

as larry the cable guy says.......
your results may vary, I:I

I got the spacer on, works nice, gave me enough clearance. There's some stupid tab on frame right behind carb im gonna need to remove so i can fit intake.

thats the tab with the mushroom head pin sticking out, it was originally used to hook the rubber intake boot on for support.
if you don't need it to support the stock rubber intake....hack it off !!
