Intake spacer question.

they are all pretty much the same, most use them when putting a bigger carb on just so the clutch arm doesnt hit the carb
My dad said its gives you a little power boost, and said He make his own for his drag bike, so I'm going to make my own.
thats a very general statement... they will help out on an engine that has too short of an intake tract.... i wouldnt worry to much about that problem on a blaster though.. reed spacrs have become more of a gimmik than anything anymore.. little knowledge is put into them.. they just skate on teh old addage that they add low end power.. MAYBE on some engines thats the case. but for a blaster.. they allow you to clear the clutch arm with a bigger carb.. thats about it..
well you would think that they would help the air/fuel charge gain some sort of velocity, but who knows

That question could be answered with dyno results backing it up
I would not run a reed spacer, it will loose power
If there is a big response from the members, then maybe the R and D section will get added.

ok, thats from a pros mouth, the power questions solved, so how would you clear your clutch arm if you run a big carb?
I have a customers bike on the dyno with a 35mm carb, just took a pic and I will upload it
