need some blaster help,i rode my blaster around the yard about 15-20min,then i pull to the door and go inside to grab a smoke right quick and noticed it started reeving high as hell,so i hit the kill switch, let it sit for a few looked it over and started it back up,and noticed when driving when i pull in clutch to stop or something it revs high some times not all the time, and cant figure it out,

any input would be great

and i went through a small creek a few times back and forth playing around before it started acting up, don't know if that might have something to do with it

Could be a few things.

Fuel starvation stemming from a dirty needle and seat assembly.

Floaties, or rather sinkies (crap) in the fuel bowl, clean out the carby.

Incorrect idle setting, adjust the idle setting

Air leak. When was the last time a leak down test was performed?

leak test done about 2months ago was good then,do you think it could have something to do with tors idle box?

A motor running slightly lean on idle and left idling for a while has been known to increase in speed, but on the other hand has been known to stall.

I would be leak testing it, paying most attention to the carby boot as they have been known to crack and leak under vibration.

Flex the boot well when you do the test.

i'll chime in a dime 4 ya.

Ya some know, i recently rebuilt 2 blasters in he past few months.

one with tors, one without.

simple things to check.

1-throttle cable sticking,
2-carb slider sticking
3- turn the idle down w the tors and see what it does.

4-make sure both boots to the carb are on good and sealed. I recently had the boot slip off just a tad and cause a high idle issue. Loosen up the tightening bands to the boots. and make sure the carb is still on the boots and retighten the bands on the boots.

5- double check your bolts, for tightness.

a-exhaust.
b, case covers.
c, cylinder & head bolts.
