i just sold my 02 blaster for $1500 pretty good huh? haha well i am now looking at a 07 yfz 450 or a 06 trx 450r and idk what won is better or more reliable i have heard it both ways all i want is a fast quad that is good on trials track and face it it will be muddy sometimes haha but i need this quad to last so idk what to pick i need help. i hear the yfz have overheat and battery problems but i also hear the trx is slow and suspension isn't the best i like the yamaha more but im just worried about reliabilty if i could get help it would be much appriciated thanks

450r's are anything but slow...i rode one and it was scary fast compared to my blaster....the suspension was awesome imo also...havent rode a yzf though so i cant compare....me personally would go with the honda...and if you get a pre 05 they didnt have electric start so thatll be one less thing to worry about...
The trx is great platform to start with IMO... a bit turdish by yfz and ltr standerds but they can be built to really run and handle good Also 04-05 kickers are getting cheaper and cheaper, plus you don't have to charge a stupid battery or have the extra weight and complexity of a starter.
trx 450 compared to a blaster is not gana be slow i kno someoe with one and it rips and there good trail quads from what i hear and id go for one with kick start there better imo
