ive been workin on this thing for about month finally almost all the way put back together. heres the problem the new blaster i bought i took the head, piston all that off and put it on my other blasty. the exhaust on the new was stock so the head has the long bolts sticking out for the exhaust and i can seem to take the bolts out. there to long and wont hold my fmf up against the headi have a huge gap so i need to take those long bolts out so i can put the shorter ones in so i can actually ride plz help

are they bolts or studs? If they are bolts - head up to Home Depot or Lowes and pick up some Metric bolts that are the same but shorter - my guess they are M8 bolts.

my bad yea there the studs im guessing there threaded on both sides. i got to get them out of the head. when i took the fmf off the other head it had sorter ones so i gotta get the long studs out of the head

nope the stop kinda far back with the nut all the way tight the fmf is still nowehere near the head thats when i looked at the ones that cam out of the other one there not double threaded they just screw in so im guessing the guy that had b4 me had to put those in to hold the pipe against the head which means he got thoose long studs out somehow

i might try the washers thing if i can find some but those studs have to come out there not on my other head so i know they come out

i would buti have dial up and it takes for ever to put pic up on here it took me bout an hour and 15 mins to put my aviater up. ill see if i can find a thread on here with something similar and post the link if that would help

haha i guess i have no chioce but do the washers. but i know those mofoing studs come out and ive tried ur method of vise grips and they wont move

hell yea u cant do sh*t with dial up it takes for ever to load everything blasterforums pretty fast but other than that i hate getting on the int

spray some pb on the studs, get a couple of nuts, put some locktite (threadlock) on the stud and on the inside of the nuts and let it sit for a day or two. then go out and see if u can undo the studs. ive used this on a couple of my rc trucks lol. maybe it would be a try.

oh dude u got the bolts for the exhaust put them both on one bolt tighten them down and on the inner bolt try to put a wrench on it and loosen it using the bolts we had to take them out on one of ours it wrked fine
