i personaly hate bike motors in quads a 125 2stroke motor max is what i would put in a quad, it destroys the quad the centre of balance is put off and theres always the point that the frame will take no abuse before it gives in ,just somthing to think about dude but good luck with whatever option you choose !
i dont know what im doing... im just sick of all the sh*t any of my stuff put me through. i take alot of care with my bike and they alway break. i almost had my mom convinced on a 2011 yfz 450x se till i told her the price. ($8,949)
I bet you can if you are patient enough and look around the area. I can find them even cheaper than $2500 around here in Ohio/Indiana.
dude if you cant keep a blaster that isnt modified a whole bunch runnin and in good shape imagine a 1 of a kind homemade streetbike engine
i dont have 550. i have 300 atm, my mom might have paid for the swap if the guy did not trade for the bike
i maintain it more that you think. i spend more time working on my quad than my family. when it blew it was not in my control. the shop that "fixed" it is known for bad work. it should not have run for maybe a month or two and just magically lost compression
yfz's,ltr,trx(most 450s) are had for 2k here nice ltr im think of buy with the money i got for my blaster and old yfz either that or a z400 ! i'd personaly feelbad taking that much money of my parents..
