what color will the fuel look like on my spark plug when i check it going hard for 4or5 sec. so i want to start with the air/fuel screw which way do i start to turn it and how far then when i check it how long before i know its working or not i need a 101 training on this if way one that Knows will help me figure this out i'd really apresheate it thanks

Your plug will be kind of the color of a pancake when you're running the right mixture. The air screw isn't going to do much for your top end of the throttle. That's mainly to adjust the bottom end of the throttle. Check out the sticky at the top of the Engine page. That's how I learned about tuning my carb.

if it starts and idles fine i dont know if the iar screw needs adjusted..when barely on the throttle just putting along how does the engine seem to run?

it seems to run fine its just my power band in 2nd doesn't lift the front wheels i can rev then pop the clutch and i'll lift i just don't think its good for the engine i'm running 14/40 with rarz 20s on the back i just got a complete rebuild 2 weeks ago 68.25 and new crank both wiseco any ideas?
