Hey all,

I picked up a Blaster last fall. When I bought it the weather had already turned pretty cold. The Blaster would start of and run fine. It was only ridden around the fields a couple of times then parked for the winter.

Yesterday I pulled it out, started it after 5-6 kicks on old gas/oil mix that's in the tank. It idled a little rough at first then smoothed out to normal once warmed up.

When I apply any throttle to it, it bogs down and will die if I don't let off the throttle. The amount of smoke out the exhaust noticeably increases when I do this also.

It has had a pipe/reeds/jets/foam filter installed. I do not know what size jets are currently installed.

Could the jetting be that far off that it would run good in the cold (mid-high 30's) and not now (mid 50's)?

Hoping for a little inside before I go pull the carb apart.

Thanks.

Yeah, but the other 2 should probably be done anyway and they will take 1/4 of the time of just pulling the carb.

Now to find the link to the as mixture ratio.

Ok, finally fixed. TORS was still hooked up, and that was causing the problem. Put a jumper across the wires and all works normal.
