idle screw

only 3/4 out, but it runs and idles good

only concern is that im only out 3/4 of a turn on the idle adjustment

wonderinig if I hav an underling problem

yeah, your pilot jet isn't large enough which could mean a small air leak.

lately when im riding it has ben sounding like i hav an air leak while riding, almost like a tire leaking, but this is crusing in 3rd gear going up and down with the gas

i did change the main jet to a 280 when i removed the air box and changed the filter

hmmmm normally a small air leak you cannot hear... only "feel" the effects (hanging idle)

probably time to contact slick about an air leak tester or go to the hardware store to chase down all the parts.

That air sound could be that your hearing the engine sucking in the air from a clean filter! Especially if the air box lid is off.

Agree with sicivic-And i say go up one pilot jet size, but do a leakdown test first!
