Hey guys, my bike has a twist throttle with the tors elimination on it... I have not ran the bike yet waiting for the top end first, but i dont see where they installed an idle kit like i thought you were supposed to get when you eliminate the tors.... Will my bike idle fine or should i get this kit?

Just trying to plan ahead so i cover everything in one order and save on shipping and that way when it gets here its all ready to go back together, its all stripped to the frame from painting....

And that goes in the side of the carb close to the plunger and its gold right? Cause i dont see it on my carb but i see where the hole is that it is supposed to go in (i think anyways)....

theres a DIY on here on how to do it, its relatively easy and if you have the proper cap and stuff all you need is the screw, and they sell them on egay for a couple of quid, but you can only use that if you have a good sharp drill and a tap and die set. search for the thread :)

and yeah its gold, it goes in the hole next to the fuel line and its handy to do, although i dont personally like twsit throttles IMO there dangerous, there ok on a bike because you lean to turn but on a quad turning, especailly sharp right they can cause problems, just be careful I:I

Hehe, a couple of quid :) sounds funny to me.

It looks like my carb was already setup for the screw and its just missing or something, cause the part your supposed to take the cap out of is already missing....

Ill take a pic of what i have on there and you guys can decide what i have, it would help out alot!

See the big hole next to the fuel line to the left of it in the 3rd pic. That's where the idle screw goes. First you have to drill the hole out then tap it for the idle screw then you have to file or grind the spot where the idle screw goes flat so the lock nut will stay tight.

I think Vitos sells the idle screw with a tap and drill bit kit.

Yeah i ordered the vitos kit, i just wanna have it all ready so when it gets here i can throw it together and ride. f*ckin TORS takes a sh*t while most of the snows gone and we have nice blue skys. Should be here monday when the storms roll in again, 8-|

i had the whole vito's tors kit, lost the screw first ride on it, i say fuk the lock nut, my dealer hooked me up with a larger headed thumb style idle screw and a spring that went behind it, held it nice and tight for months of hard riding, and you can reach down anytime and adjust it with no tools needed
cost me like $6 total,

yeah, handy being able to turn the screw without needing a special tool, :)
