idle adjustment

every machine is different, every carb is different, so thats a tough one, you will know when you have it just right, you will feel it, stock or aftermarket carb?
its a 2 stroke it dont need to idle....j/k
if its s stock carb there is a "thumb" type screw that is under the seat, near the gas tank, under a rubber flap. Turn it to the right for higher idle and left for lower. The idle should be low. Maybe just above where the quad is going to die.

on a stock carb it should be where the headlight is dim and kinda fluttering,thats where mine is and i just did the throttle cable....
ok there is a idle screw in top of it turn it right to up the idle, or you can do it at the thumb but that acts more like a governor, so i wouldn't mess with it.
when you turn it you will hear it and know when the idle is perfect.I:I
