ok as some of you may know that im getting a yz 125.2 stroke,yes.Yamaha,yes.Blaster,no.As it sits in its current state in needs a new gasket to stop a small oil leak.Carb cleaned and tuned.Kicker gear replaced. And a front break rotor. Now since ill already be working on the enigine why not mod it?What would be some good aftermarket parts to really make this thing scream?I know a port and polish will help a great deal but im just wanting some bolt on mods for now.Im just wanting to go for trails and flat track.A a/m pipe and reeds will prob be a good start.

uni air filter with the lid off, little bigger carb maybe 28-33mm, aftermarket pipe and reeds. those would be the easiest things. have you looked into getting the head modified? this is a good upgrade as well and you dont have to disassemble the whole motor. you could even find a dremel tool and do some of your own clean up of the cylinder...

actually i didnt. Thanks for the tip man! and to whom said get the 144 bbk, it aint worth it.Pay hunderds of dollars for +19 cc?Atleast with the blaster youd spend bout 600 bucks and gain an easy 40 cc.

as for the carb im pretty sure stock is a 32mm mikuni, so dont get anything smaller unless you want more low end power

You can't go wrong with an FMF fatty and shorty silencer there like $320 pretty much any where. Also A set of Boyseen reeds, yes there more expensive, yes they'll last longer and yes they'll give you much more power in the low and especially the top than the VF2-3's, there for more low to mid and little on top. Thats what i got on my 2000 KX125+Uni air filter+bored 10 over. and boring on any bike goes quite a long way and tends to show more on dirtbikes in my opinion. but only recomended if it can be helped.
