i need help lol

okay and i have reeds on it now to

i have the carb off now so i can do anything to it

i think ill buy a 260 and a 270 i want to run a little rich not lean just to be on the safe side

true well all the motorsports places are closed now and i dont have any jets so tomorrow is when ill buy em but im not gonna put the carb on tell i get the reeds and idl when that will be so ill just have to tell my sister to get the hell of her go cart and let me drive lol

o okay i wa like i know its not good but i dont think that would make make it bogg but if it was that it would bogg when i rev it up when it was idling to i think

Don't mean to step on any toes but DO NOT run it. if you have water in the crank you need to pull the jug and check DO NOT run it. I just burnt up a brand new weisco crank doin that. If you are still running the tors system on your carb(the big ass metal thing on top of your carb try unpluging it if it is pluged in still. that thing is a real pos and screws up the more than it fixes. by unplug it I mean the electricle connection. and yes a 230 jet is pretty small (stock actually) for an pipe upgrade. pilot jet shouldn't be the problem.

im not gonna pull the whole freakin jug off ill just drain the fuilds and replace and dude wtf is the tors about thats not wat the thread is about and its un hooked anyways

he's suggesting TORS because there's a possibility that if it was still hooked up and got wet, it may be malfunctioning causing your bog.

okay and how would i get water in my crank case would it go through with the gas and oil and burn up not stay in the case?

if its in the trans, then there should be no way for it to get into the motor itself, otherwise you have an air leak

ya one of the guys suggested that i could have water in my crank case it would burn out right?
and how would it even get in the trans?

it shouldn't be in the trans. I was just asking about the tors so don't act like i'm insulting your intelegence. water would get into the crank case through your air intake and sinse water is heavier than gas it would work it's way down to the crank. What I'm telling you is that if you run your blaster with water in the crank chamber it will screw it up! there are no fluids in the crank chamber just residual oil from the gas. I know this from personal experience and just don't want you to make a big mistake by running a motor with water in the crank chamber. learning from other peoples mistakes is much cheaper than doing it yourself. if there was sand in your carb don't you think water might have carried it there

okay its cool, i figured that the water would burn out with the gas. So how would i drain the crank case?

you can't really drain it without splitting the cases but if you pull the jug and flip the bike upside down, anything in the crank chamber should poor out. I would put some mineral spirits in a spray bottle and try to clean the whole area if it looks like there is mud or water in there. use a tooth brush or something to try and get around the crank and clean it until the everything sounds nice and smooth when you turn the crank. sounds like a lot of work but much less than a full rebuild that I am doing right now because of that same exact thing.

it couldnt of been much wwater in there i only went through like 1 mud hole twice tell my buddy crashed and we left.

i just got the reeds in the mail and then put them one (no reed stops any opinions?) it runs great i like those reeds alot i can feel the response !! But thanks u guys for helpin me i would of never guessed reeds

now all i will have to do it mess with jetting. Its runnin a little lean
