I've gotten some really good stuff for dirt cheap. Like the two brand new 25 ft roles of Parker 1/2 rubber air hoses for $5 each.
Ya. Got the box back in July from a moving sale. He had an auto repair shop that he closed up. Killer deals but all I could afford at the time was the tool box. Wish I coulda got the nice gas mig welder he had for $75.
Ive absolutely killed garage sales over and over again.... i used to work in a pawn shop so i know certain things to look for...
Ive got a early 1980s authentic Gucci handbag for $1 last summer.. its worth about $450 now on ebay.... i dont think anything beats the margin of gain...
But ive also scored some great artwork that is worth some good coin... dunno if anyone has ever heard of bud watson.. but hes a very famous outdoors photographer... i bought one of his originals hand signed in 1972 for $20.... last word was it was worth between $5,000 and $30,000..... im waiting for someone to get back to me to appraise it before i decide what to do with it...
